Detour urban dance festival is based at and supported by Dansehallerne since 2012, this festival will be showcasing Denmarks top urban choreographers alongside performances from top international dance crews.
Detour is committed to celebrating, elevating and supporting urban dance theatre. Our main values include nurturing Danish-based talent, profiling the world’s elite urban performers, exploring the possibilities of hip-hop dance theatre, educating on the foundations of hip-hop dance and engaging with children and young people.
Detour gives the choreographer or crew an opportunity to develop and experiment with new ideas, allowing the artists to take creative risks.
